Senior Associate - Research

Our firm is looking for consulting professionals with 3-5 years of experience within the Research, Compliance, and/or Healthcare industries at the Senior Associate level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to guide projects from beginning to end, including staying within budget constraints and time, managing client expectations, and providing updates to management on its status.
  • Must be able to work within the chain of command and resolve complications before they arise both with junior associates and managing directors; evaluation and feedback concerning review of subordinate/junior associate work.
  • Analyze clinical care standards to make coverage decisions for clients seeking compliant research participant billing operations.
  • Assist with assessments and implementation projects involving:
    • Review of Medicare regulations and guidance documents for clinical trials billing
    • Review of human subjects protection rules and regulations
    • Develop administrative processes and structures for clinical research management
  • Sustained client engagement, service and relationship supervision in addition to identification of potential new business opportunities.
  • Ability to provide field knowledge in order to give relevant feedback on projects.
  • Exceptional communication abilities along with an ability to provide detailed but clear analysis and presentations when required including new client pitches.
Relevant Experience and Education
  • Registered Nurse preffered (RN)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working in the clinical research, coverage analysis, healthcare administration, nursing, healthcare compliance, or consulting fields.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of how to prepare a coverage analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Willingness to travel often and work overtime as needed.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience of federal billing and reimbursement regulations, clinical research, human subjects protection, and good clinical practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
