Senior Associate - Turnaround & Restructuring

Ankura is looking for finance professionals with 3-5 years of experience within the Turnaround & Restructuring industry at the Senior Associate level.
  • Ability to guide projects from beginning to end, including staying within budget constraints and time, managing client expectations and providing updates to management on it status
  • Must be able to work within the chain of command and resolve complications before they arise both with junior associates and managing directors; evaluation and feedback concerning review of subordinate/junior associate work
  • Review and analysis of financial models and statements to ensure precision
  • Development of business strategy for turn around and profitability improvement
  • Application of various financial skills in a wide variety of client and industry environments; financial modeling, company analysis, assessment of business plans and due diligence
  • Research and preparation of intricate cash flow projects both real and speculative; preparation of relevant company analysis for clients or management
  • Sustained client engagement, service and relationship supervision in addition to identification of potential new business opportunities
  • Ability to provide field knowledge in order to give relevant feedback on cases/projects
  • Exceptional communication abilities along with an ability to provide detailed but clear analysis and presentations when required including new client pitches
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience relevant experience within the restructuring and general consulting industry.
  • Willingness to travel often and work overtime as needed.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience of bankruptcy processes and distressed companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field required, Master’s, CPA or CIRA preferred.
