Senior Associate -  Healthcare

This position will be responsible for preparing business valuations of healthcare provider entities, including ambulatory surgery centers, dialysis centers, physician practices, and other types of provider entities.  Senior Associate will perform financial statement and operational analysis for business valuations.  The Senior Associate will work closely with other members of the healthcare valuation team to deliver client service of the highest quality.  The Senior Associate will have access to training opportunities related to valuation as well as healthcare-specific topics.  This position will report directly to the Director within the healthcare valuation practice at Ankura.
  • Prepare valuations of healthcare provider entities
  • Maintain and develop valuation models
  • Perform financial statement analysis
  • Perform operational analysis of businesses
  • Develop analyses and schedules for clients
  • Manipulate large datasets and perform data analytics
  • Perform benchmarking analysis using industry benchmark (survey) data
  • Perform market and industry research on various topics
  • Interact with clients as needed for data request purposes
  • Contribute to the valuation report writing process
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience (required), such as business valuation, compensation valuation, or healthcare consulting
  • Healthcare industry experience (helpful)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Accounting or Finance (required)
  • Masters degrees in business administration or accounting welcome
  • Proficient in advanced MS Excel functions (required) – please do not apply if you lack strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to perform in a team setting
  • Ability to work independently, achieve tight deadlines, and take initiative on multiple projects (required)
  • Ability to meet and manage multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong accounting and/or finance foundation and familiarity with financial statements (required)
