Senior Associate – Litigation & Disputes (Accounting and Finance)

This role will provide support with on-going projects and assist with all aspects of the monthly accounting cycle, as well as work with current and future clients to identify, design and implement financial initiatives that support their business needs.


Assists upper management in the overall financial management, analysis, and reporting for our clients
Maintains general ledger and journals and monitors asset, liability, income and expense accounts for discrepancies
Produces accurate financial analyses, reconciliations, schedules, reports and footnotes on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis to include balance sheet accounts and significant or material income statement accounts
Assists in the preparation and review of the client’s quarterly estimated tax calculations
Assists in the preparation and review of the client’s interim and year-end audit process
Identifies and recommends process improvement initiatives designed to enhance the level of service provided by the accounting team, strengthen internal controls, make accounting processes more efficient, or enhance business reporting
Produces ad hoc reports as required for internal uses and external parties, including auditors
Researches complex accounting issues and undertake special projects, as required
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of accounting best practices, principles, and methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Be familiar with consulting work and have a client oriented personality
Highly organized, flexible and detail-oriented individual who can perform and execute under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Experience with QuickBooks required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Excel


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or other business-related discipline
CPA required
Three to five years of experience in a similar role
