Our firm is looking for experienced healthcare professionals who have worked in compliance, regulatory, financial, and/or operational roles related to clinical trials and research administration to join the firm at the Project Manager level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing the ongoing workflow and calendar of tasks needed to produce required deliverables for multiple clients on a recurring/cyclical basis.
  • Assisting the team Managing Director in tracking and following up on long-term client engagements under changing deadlines and project requirements.
  • Coordinating with Research and Compliance Team-members to produce, organize, review the preparation of coverage analysis and related deliverables on an ongoing basis.
  • Developing project management processes to organize client background materials and maintain status updates with changes as they happen.
  • Engaging with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced efficiency.
  • Analyze clinical care standards to make coverage decisions for clients seeking compliant research participant billing operations.
  • Assist with assessments and implementation projects involving:
    • Review of Medicare regulations and guidance documents for clinical trials billing
    • Review of human subjects protection rules and regulations
    • Develop administrative processes and structures for clinical research management
  • Sustained client engagement, service and relationship supervision in addition to identification of potential new business opportunities.
  • Ability to provide field knowledge in order to give relevant feedback on projects.
  • Exceptional communication abilities along with an ability to provide detailed but clear analysis and presentations when required including new client pitches.
Relevant Experience and Education
  • Director level position
  • Bachelor degree
  • 5-8 years of full-time work experience; consulting background preferred, experience working in a healthcare setting valued
  • Experience to include project management, especially with ongoing and recurring client matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Relevant experience working in the clinical research, coverage analysis, healthcare administration, nursing, healthcare compliance, or consulting fields.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of how to prepare a coverage analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Willingness to travel often and work overtime as needed.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of federal billing and reimbursement regulations, clinical research, human subject protection, and good clinical practices.
