Ankura is seeking exceptional candidates for a summer internship on its Data Analytics team.  The Data Analytics team is commonly engaged to assist financial investigations, litigations and disputes, turnaround and process improvement engagements, and other critical business issues. The team specializes in the efficient identification of relevant and responsive data across clients’ vast internal systems and repositories and works with clients to efficiently extract and effectively analyze and present client data. Prior experience in data analytics is not required; ideal candidates are highly motivated, curious, team-oriented, and eager to learn.  We are looking for interns who can make meaningful contributions to the team’s culture and client service. As an intern with Ankura, you will collaborate with some of the best and brightest in the consulting industry to serve real clients, while receiving mentoring, training, and guidance you need for a successful career!
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Be a registered student (undergraduate or graduate) at a US university or college;
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong interest in a career in data analytics and consulting
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills and a good knowledge of his/her particular area of study.
  • Completed junior year, majoring in business, data analytics, computer science, information systems or related field.  Other areas will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Able to work in teams as well as independently
  • Able to adapt quickly in handling multiple/evolving tasks as a result of new engagements and/or re-prioritized deadlines
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and workplace, collaboration tools is highly desirable
The length of time for the summer internship, from beginning to end, is a minimum of 8 weeks. The start date is mutually agreed upon by the intern and the hiring manager. The average start dates for the summer program have been mid-June to early-July and the end dates, late-August to mid-September.
