ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: 
Our firm is looking for an entry-level Associate to provide day-to-day support to the settlement administration process of an ongoing project. The Associate will assist in a variety of research and administrative tasks. This role would utilize a customer relationship management ticketing system and interact with individuals and companies that have settlement related questions. There is also a research and data entry element to the position, with the opportunity to utilize and develop more advanced data analysis techniques using MS Excel and SAS (Statistical Analysis System).
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage correspondence related databases to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests to ensure deadlines and goals are met
  • Receive and make phone calls related to the settlement
  • Draft memos and correspondence
  • Review, prepare, maintain and organize physical correspondences
  • Perform research and data collection as requested
  • Prepare summary reports of research, and other ad hoc reports as needed
  • Follow established correspondence policies and procedures
  • Summarize correspondence and classify into established categories
  • Work closely with team to inform of any high priority requests
  • Perform QA tasks on request
In-depth technical and administrative understanding of the following is required:
  • MS Office
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • One to two years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
