Associate - Litigation & Disputes (Claims Audit)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: 
 The Associate will support Ankura’s audit and settlement administration engagements by acting as an initial reviewer during the audit process.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review claim forms and other documents to determine claim compensability under varying standards
  • Review claims processing to ensure facility standards are upheld and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Prepare written summaries of deficient and inconsistent claim filings for use by management
  • Identify patterns of suspicious activity in claims filing and processing
  • Collaborate with other team members to request additional materials to resolve deficiencies and inconsistencies
  • Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports
 
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in quality assurance and compliance processes is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
