Associate - Litigation & Disputes (Claims Processing)

The Associate will support settlement administration engagements by providing day-to-day claims processing support while ensuring the accurate review of claims for managed settlements.

• Review claim forms and other documents to determine claim compensability under varying standards
• Manage claims related databases, internal and external, to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date
• Perform data collection, document review and research projects, as requested
• Prepare summary reports of claims processing status, and other ad hoc reports as needed
• Organize, sort and filter large data sets in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends
• Follow quality assurance and data testing strategies and best practice standards
• Respond in a timely manner to data requests to ensure daily, weekly and monthly deadlines and goals are met
• Conduct research on industries and matters related to pending projects
• Review documents, claims and other client materials to extrapolate relevant data 
• Draft memos, correspondence, and contribute to client reports
• Bachelor's degree 
• Excellent organizational skills
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
