ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Ankura is looking for an Administrative Team member to provide support to leadership and professionals in our New York and New Jersey offices, and to partner with the senior staff to ensure support is provided effectively.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide administrative support to assigned senior leaders, including, but not limited to:  composing, typing and editing of correspondence; report and document creation; preparation of presentation materials, including PowerPoint and Word preparation and copying and assembly of materials; calendaring; time and expense entry; coordinating travel arrangements and meetings, including conference call and webinar set up, catering and greeting visitors.
  • Maintain confidence of sensitive or confidential information.
  • Help provide office management support, as needed 
  • Aid with on-boarding and off-boarding of staff, including tour of facility, introduction to staff, seating assignment and desk set up, and return of company asset
  • Other duties and projects as requested.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4-6 years of administrative support experience desired.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.
  • Deltek, Salesforce, and INTAPP familiarity preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workloads of senior professionals amid conflicting demands and busy work periods.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
  • BA in Business Administration or related program required.
  • Highly efficient and organized with a proactive work ethic and ability to work as part of a busy team, as well as independently.
